When you add performance products to a vehicle, the gains do not necessarily stack. I'd probably bet that 400+ hp would make it whine pretty good though. If you're interested in making this tough truck even tougher then there are a ton of mods and upgrades options out there to help you accomplish this goal.
The programmer changed the shift points a little, and it firms the shifts up and makes them quicker, but it didn't add any horsepower.
#1 exhaust upgrades with afe twisted steel headers with y pipes (adding +12 hp and +13 lbs x ft. Your rear end will be able to handle a it ok i would imagine, but i don't know enough about these specific diffs to say for sure. And the horsepower, when i put the petal to the metal so to speak , the difference is intense from a dead stop i was able to reach 90 mph in just 60 feet! As you might expect, the bigger engines don't get quite the same gas mileage, but the drop off isn't as steep as you might expect.
